Blessed Gérard's Care Centre is looking for a

Professional Registered Nurse

to take over the teaching in our well equipped Health Care Centre and Hospice situated in Mandeni on the North Coast of kwaZulu/Natal.

Your duties will be:

• to teach Courses in Home Based Care to the public
• to teach Caregivers' Courses to our future volunteers
• to teach HAART Readiness Courses to AIDS patients to prepare them for antiretroviral treatment and
• to assist the other registered nurses in the Hospice in their general nursing duties and supervise the practical training of our caregivers at times where there are no lessons to teach.

Requirements:

• good teaching skills
• 5 years experience - minimum (with traceable references)
• Organisational ability
• Leadership skills
• Must be bilingual - Zulu/English
• Ability to work within a team
• Positive attitude towards the Roman Catholic Church

It will be of advantage if you

• are accredited with the HWSETA
• are qualified as a nursing tutor
• have a driver's license

Salary package negotiable, including contributions to medical aid & pension fund (We pay competitive salaries, above the public sector).
